TROYAN PLUM BRANDY IN PORCELAIN BOTTLE 10 G. SINGLE BARREL
In the 70s, in the portfolio of VINPROM – TROYAN, the product Troyan plum brandy in a porcelain bottle was among the most exquisite products. The bottle, once found in the family buffet or in the bar of an office building, was among the revered beautiful items that add coziness and style. The bottle has been cared for, kept and passed down from generation to generation, and to this day it can be found in antiques, aristocratic homes, offices and collectors.
We rummaged through our archives and found a copy of this special porcelain bottle, cleaned it of dust, and its design impressed us. We have started working on restoring the production of this product. We quickly faced difficulties, but this did not stop us, because we at VINPROM - TROYAN love challenges. It turned out that nowadays it is not easy to find a company or craftsman who can produce a bottle of porcelain to order.
In our archive there is information that the porcelain bottle from the last century was produced in one of the largest Bulgarian porcelain factories in the town of Razgrad. The bottle had a volume of 1 liter. and was produced mainly in white color and less often in yellow, brown or red color.
The search was long, we consulted, met and discussed with several famous and unknown craftsmen, artists and masters of porcelain, knocked on the doors of the National Academy of Arts as well, until we found our master of porcelain bottles from Troyan. If the brandy is Troyan, it is most correct that the master of making the bottles is from Troyan. We work with this motto in accessories to our other products - ceramic cups "Troyan plum", a wooden gift box for a set for mulled brandy with cezve, a recipe and of course the most valuable Troyan elixir - brandy.
On the way to the implementation of the project, Professor Dimitar Petrov from the New Bulgarian University also joined, to whom we owe the production of the molds for casting the porcelain. A specialist designer made a replica of the design of the front and back labels, and subsequently a replica of the original box from the 70s. Just as we take care of our brandies, we use the same passion for detail. Here we will mention the porcelain cap, which is equipped with a cork cork made from the best quality Portuguese cork.
The path from the initial idea to the implementation of the final product for us is measured by more than 2 years of negotiations, faith, testing, meetings and refinement. In the process of implementation, we decided that the volume of contents will be equated to the modern standard for alcoholic products - 700 ml.
We held a series of tastings and several rounds of discussion until we decided that the contents of the bottle should be fine plum brandy, aged for 10 years in our oak barrel cellar. Here we are happy and proud to talk about rakia that is not blended with another, so-called - single barrel.
